Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
